El Paso, IL - Corn: 114 day hybrid w/fungicide 240 bpa, 56 lb test, 20% moisture with some stalk lodging but harvestable

Henry County -130 acres of corn on bean ground 213 bpa, 233 APH

Henry County - 160 acres of corn on bean ground 223, 240 APH

 

North Dakota:

Mclean County, ND - Corn 70 bpa, ground zero for drought, expected 50 bpa

Cass - Beans 25 bpa, way worse than expected, 48 APH

Cass - Beans 45 bpa, about as expected

Page, ND - 185 acres dry land corn, 120 bpa, 18-19% moisture, 155 APH, expected worse

Stark County - 450 acres corn, 230 bpa, some of their best ground, expected 250-270 bpa a month ago.

 

Kansas:

Hiawatha, KS - 330 acres of dryland corn, 243 bpa at 22.5% moisture. Irrigated is running about 20 bpa better

 

Missouri:

Chariton County, MO - Early number w drown out spots 15.5% 180 bpa; 2nd field 206 bpa; 3rd field 220 bpa, this field never been better than 200, field in today running 280  (283 bpa in 2017) No disease issues- fungicide used, stalk quality good. Good crop but not over the top.

 

Indiana:

Edinburgh, IN – Corn planted April 4, 190-215 bpa

Edinburgh, IN – Corn planted April 25, 160 bpa, 235 bpa last year

Minnesota:

• Grant - 170 acres beans, 28 bpa, normal is 45-50
• Fergus Falls, MN - Early Beans, 40 BPA (APH 46), good ground, dry/wind
• 3rd week August, yield could have been worse
• Marshall, MN -  beans, really early, ugly sub 25 bpa

Iowa:

• Cerro Gordo - 200 acres soybeans 68 bpa, expected 50-53
• Buchanan - Soybean yield of 68bpa. Moisture 13.4%. Better than expected.

Illinois:

• Highland, IL - 500 acres corn, 230bpa, 15bpa better than last year.
• Moultrie/Douglass - 1,200 acres of corn 223.8-bpa, disappointed by at least 10 bpa, lots of disease pressure and light test weight
• Moultrie/Douglass – first beans an “absolute disaster”, 45-50-bpa with 30 bpa swings
• Moultrie - corn running 230-235-bpa, not too far off of avg., expected 250 bpa, stock quality was a concern
• Morgan and Scott Co - 442 acres corn 234 bpa, as expected.
• Hancock - corn 210 bpa, disappointed, moisture had dropped rapidly – 14%
• Knox - Corn running 190-bpa at 27% moisture, this field had corn blown down by wind, as expected, 220 APH  
• McClean – corn running from 235-250-bpa, bit better than expected, above APH

South Dakota:

• Hutchinson - 1000 acres corn, 120 bpa, 14-16%, 165 APH, expected 130’s
• Sioux Falls, SD - soybeans real ugly…20’s

Kansas:

• Delphos, KS – corn 140 bpa, at expectations
• Overbrook, KS - corn 147bpa, right at expectations
• Scandia KS - corn 70 bpa, below 100 bpa expectations
• Scandia, KS – corn 110bpa, below expectations, 140APH
• Marquette, KS – corn 95 bpa, right at expectations
• Clyde, KS – corn 110bpa, below expectations

Arkansas:

• Phillips, AR - soybeans 650 acres, mostly irrigated, 67 bpa, as expected, 66 bpa the previous year

Texas:

• Taylor, TX – corn, 170bpa, above expectations

Iowa:

• Osceola County - Early beans 126 acres, 64 bpa, better than expected
• Eastern IA - 300 acres, corn 180-230 bpa…very happy considering these were lighter soils and fields that missed the rains.
• Eastern IA - 100 day corn averaged 245 bpa; another field went 230 bpa
• Eastern IA - 200 acres, lighter ground went 230 bpa, very pleased
• Eastern, IA - beans 58 bpa at 11.8%, also reports of 65 and 68.

Illinois:

• Sullivan, IL - 125 acres corn, 221 bpa, 22%, 209 bpa in 2019
• Fulton - 1st field of corn went 240 bpa vs 215 last year
• Morgan - 80 acre corn 252 bpa, 50 acre corn 215 bpa, Both 10-15% higher than APH

North Dakota:

• Buffalo, ND - Soybeans 28 bpa

Kansas:

• Haskell - almost didn’t get all the silage and high moisture corn done as quick as everything is drying down - already to 18-24%, went from disappointing to extremely pleased, best on irrigated was 230 bpa, much higher than expected
• Coffey 80 acres corn, 130 bpa-poor ground, about average but expected better

Missouri:

• Scotland - 60 acres corn 227 bpa dry, expecting 180-200
• Chariton - fields in hills went 130-150 bpa, disappointing, 180 APH
• Chariton - fields south of Hwy 24 going 200-230 bpa, better than average, pleased
• Chariton - fields northeast part of county, 180-200 bpa, no records but pleased

North Dakota:

• Sargent - beans 32 bpa (42 APH), thought fields would do 45, but 5 days high heat/wind took toll.

Mississippi:

• Sunflower – soybeans irrigated, 95-105 bpa

• Pike County – Corn … 200 bpa, down from last year
• Gridley – Corn … non GMO, 235 bpa, about as expected
• Assumption – Corn … 220 bpa dry, holes in fields were avg of 160-180 bpa
• Decatur – Corn … 231 bpa and 227 bpa, better than last year

• Southeast area – Soybeans, 51 bpa, last year was 80 bpa, stem canker setting in and earlier than normal death
• Edinburgh – Corn … 212 bpa, less than 2020, 25% moisture, 56.2 test weight
• Veedersburg – Corn … 1000 acres,  214 bpa, 24% moisture, last year was 199
• Muncie – Corn … 200 acres, 200 bpa, similar to 2020

 

Minnesota:

• Norman – Soybeans … 20 bpa, normal is 35-40 bpa
• Norman – Soybeans … 33 bpa, normal is 45-50 bpa
• Nicollet – Corn … 300 acres, 216 bpa, 24% moisture, same as 2020
